Skinny bitch

Woohoo! Only a couple days after joining SparkPeople.com (which I *highly* recommend!!) I have lost almost 2 lbs! I typically lose about 5 lbs my first week back on track (I hate to say "on a diet," because it's not just some temporary change) and then 1-2 lbs per week after that. I started at 153, and I'm almost at 151 now. My goal is 130 lbs -- I think I last weighed that little in college.

I am truly committed to change this time. Something just feels...different. I hit my breaking point when my "fat pants" started creating a camel toe effect in my crotch area. Actually, a lot of my pants don't fit right now, and I refuse to buy a new wardrobe because I gained weight. I'd much rather buy new clothes to show off my new and improved hot bod!!

Two lbs. may not sound like a big deal, but it is to me. I feel a real sense of pride and accomplishment -- I can't wait to hit my first short-term goal of 145 so I can reward myself with a new outfit!! And then, when I hit my ultimate goal, I'm going to spring for the thermal reconditioning process that I've been longing for since April.

If anyone wants a weight loss buddy, I need all the support I can get. And I'd love to be able to help others on their own weight loss journeys. There is strength in numbers. And it's so much easier to continue on when you're constantly inspired and encouraged by others going through a similar process. So if you could use a buddy, hit me up!! :)
