One of Tamela's followers/friends (over at Class and Coffee) created The Keepsake Award, which Tamela was kind enough to nominate me for! Tamela, thanks for following my blog and for continuously providing great feedback and support! =)

My keepsake: I care what other people think about me. I used to think this is a weakness, but now I realize it's admirable. I want to treat people well and make a good impression. I believe we will ultimately be judged based on our interactions with others, so I take my relationships with others--from my students, my family and friends, my colleagues, my classmates, to complete strangers--very seriously. I don't let how others perceive me define how I feel about myself; I just genuinely want my impact on others to be positive and meaningful.

1.The Domestic Princess--Love her site! I enjoy all her photos and ideas. I have been very inspired by her blog!

2.Life as a G--T is a great person and friend. I always have fun with her and look forward to spending more time with her. She is also an awesome blog buddy...I always look forward to reading her blog updates, as well as comments she leaves for me on my blog!

3.the sum of awe--Lindsay is one of those special friendships that just kind of happened in my life, right when I needed it to. She is one of the strongest people I have ever met, and I am continuously inspired by her to be stronger and more adventurous myself. I'd trust her with anything, and I am so thankful to have her in my life. I don't get to see/talk to her nearly enough, but I think of her often and am blessed to know she is only a phone call or e-mail away.

4.A Brunette Making it One Day at a Time--Tamela is my newest friend! I feel special knowing she sees something in my blog that keeps her coming back. She is a genuine, thoughtful, funny person, and I have enjoyed getting to know her very much. I look forward to learning even more about her!
