The Culprit Has Been Caught!

After another spotting episode yesterday, followed by yet another visit to the doctor's office...the source of my spotting has been identified! Luckily, no blood was coming from the cervix or beyond, which means the baby is fine. The blood was coming from irritation within the immediate area (trying not to get too graphic here!) and was caused by Bacterial Vaginosis. I'm sure you all wanted to know that. But hey, maybe it will put someone's mind at ease out there, knowing there are many causes of spotting, and not all are indicative of an impending m/c. My beta levels look good for the 7-8 week range. Our u/s is Monday. I'm hoping for a strong heartbeat...wish us luck!!! :)
