Math Skillz

So...I didn't do too bad yesterday, but I didn't do great, either. It is hard to start a "diet" on a Friday! I had a bagel w/ cream cheese for breakfast. I had coffee and a South Beach Diet meal bar for lunch. I ended up getting a dinner salad w/breaded chicken, cheese, tomatoes, egg, bacon and honey mustard dressing for dinner. I don't know the points value, so I'm guessing 25 pts. I am probably over-estimating - better safe than sorry! Afterward, we met up with Matt's brother at The Randall Road House. I am on post-surgery Rx meds so I can't drink. Matt had beer, but I was bored, so I got tiramisu and coffee. No idea how many pts in the tiramisu. So here is what I'm doing. I was allotted 25 pts for today (including flex). I estimated that I used 25 on salad + 6 for bagel + 3 for coffee + 3 for SB bar = 37 pts. I am going to guess the tiramisu was ~10 pts. It wasn't a huge serving or anything. So I am cutting today's allowance to 25 pts total. That recovers 7 pts. I am taking the other excess 15 pts out of my flex pts for the week, which leaves me with 15 to spare. That was confusing...good thing I have some good math skillz! :)

So today I will only consume 25 pts worth of food. Tomorrow it's back on track...using flex pts as needed. Luckily, I don't need them much during the week!

We were going to go down to the city and walk around today...but it rained all morning and now it is HOT outside. I think we are going to see Public Enemies later. What are your plans??
