Wordy Wednesday

Life is crazy today!! I don't think I ever mentioned that I got two root canals done a while ago...I was mid process (had--and still have--temporary teeth) when I became pregnant, so I never got my crowns. Well, one of the temporaries fell off a month ago, and I just kept putting off getting it put back on...I was just sick of being at the doctor's all the time. Well, I called my dentist office today and they told me to come in ASAP because the gum can grow over the post. Yikes! I am about to go get it looked at...I seriously hope they don't have to cut my gums at all...there is no pain worse than that!! I lost the temporary, so they'll have to take a mold and order a new temporary, which means I'll have to take more time off work next week to get it put on. Argh!!!!

I also called my orthopedic doctor about my shoulder, which has started bothering me again. It felt fine during pregnancy, because of all the muscle-relaxing hormones my body was producing. But now the pain is back with a vengeance! He ordered physical therapy for me, so I plan to call that office tomorrow to schedule something soon. I can't wait to have full range of motion in my right shoulder again - it has been bothering me since I fell last January!

Things are good, other than all that. We are almost done painting upstairs. We will be getting a new desk and seating for the loft area soon...we're even thinking of getting an Xbox, or something like that, so we'll have something to do in the winter.

I changed my benefits at work...now $13 will be taken from each paycheck so I can get 60% of my salary when I'm out on maternity leave in the future! I had no idea you can use Short-Term Disability for maternity leave. Hope this info is helpful to someone else out there!

Anyway, I am off to the see the dentist...please pray the doctor doesn't scold me for putting it off for so long and that the gums haven't started to grow over the post!!!
