Promotion

I got a call on Monday from one of the regional directors. He asked me if I'm still interested in the DeKalb center, and I said definitely. Then he asked if I was still interested in being a director, and I said absolutely. He repied to that by saying, "I think I can make that happen." He told me he needed me to e-mail in an official letter of interest, so I did that. When I called to confirm he got it on Tuesday, he told me my regional director would be someone else, not him, and that he wanted to schedule a telephone interview. It's set up for tomorrow at 1:30. I'm trying not to get ahead of myself here. Based on how nonchalant he sounded about it all, it seems to me like they want me in the position and are just going through all the formalities to make it happen. I don't want to assume anything and end up disappointed, though. I'm running through all the possible questions they could ask me tomorrow and preparing myself for whatever they might put in front of me. I really really want this promotion. I want to be the boss. I have a vision and the ambition to run a great center; I just hope it comes through during the interview!! Wish me luck!
