Update

Not much is new here from the last time I posted. My beta and progesterone levels are rising nicely, so that's good. We have an u/s next Monday morning. That will be the big day. We'll either see the little bean or we won't. Hopefully, our inchworm is in there and thriving. I will exhale a huge sigh of relief after I get confirmation of a heartbeat. I have been experiencing extreme nausea/morning sickness for the past week, which has put my mind at ease somewhat. Symptoms like this are a good sign that things are going well. I prayed for symptoms, and boy, I got them! I end up with my head in the toilet 2-3 times a day. And when my head isn't in the toilet, I'm feeling queasy and wishing I had an appetite. I usually start to feel better by the early/mid-afternoon, but sometimes the nausea lasts all day. Let's just hope it lets up by the 2nd trimester! I have already thrown up at a gas station and a McDonald's...I really hope this doesn't last the whole pregnancy!

Hmmm...what else? I just finished Jennifer Weiner's Certain Girls. I totally called the ending. I knew something tragic would happen, and there was a subtle hint earlier in the book of what it would be. Honestly, if I wrote the book, I'd probably have it end the same way. I like it better than the ending to My Sister's Keeper. Had I written that book, I would have had Anna donate her kidney only to die in the process. The car accident was completely unnecessary. Matt wonders why I only read depressing books (i.e. The Lovely Bones, Marley & Me, My Sister's Keeper). I usually just read books with good buzz. I can't help it if they're all horribly depressing!

Speaking of horribly depressing, I can't believe Jillian cut Reid last night. I think it was totally scripted and that he'll be back. I think they're the next Jason and Molly. There's no way Jillian truly likes Ed...he is just creeping me out with those short swim trunks and his inability to make eye contact. And Kiptyn is gay. Yeah, last night was a little shocking and disappointing. If Jillian doesn't somehow end up with Reid, I am going to have to find something else to watch from now on!
