Fall Colors

I love autumn. I love being surrounded by orange, red, and yellow. I love the smell of apples and cinnamon. I love cuddling on the couch with the sliding glass door open, a blanket over my lap, and a glass of wine in my hand. I love TV premieres and the anticipation of holiday gatherings. I love decorating my house with pumpkins and gourds. I love being able to go for a long walk without feeling like a disgusting mess afterward. Autumn is a time of family and friends; it is a time of reflection and gratitude; it signals the end of yet another year, which brings the promise of a new beginning. It's amazing how a faint chill in the air can warm your soul.
