I am doing much better with the whole diet and fitness thing now. I have remained within a 1200 cal range and walked for 30 minutes for two days in a row. I will be logging my diet/fitness info on Spark People from now on.
I seem to be healing well. Occasionally my neck makes a clicking sound, which freaks me out a little. But it had been doing that before surgery, so at least I know it's nothing new. My stitches are a little itchy, my hip is still a little sore, but I am able to get around very well now.
In fact, I sometimes stretch my arms or move so liberally I worry I am pushing it. I am paranoid I'm doing something wrong and am going to screw up what the surgeon did. I'm probably worrying unnecessarily, as usual, but that's just who I am! :-D
My follow-up appointment is this Thursday. Hopefully, my doc says everything sounds normal and looks good. I'll keep you posted!

I hope everything checks out on your follow up. I can't believe you walked for 30 minutes after having surgery two days in a row!
