Life is good

I'm LOVING the new position!! Being director is very time-consuming (and doesn't pay a whole lot more), but I feel very accomplished and positive after my first week on the job. I put in a lot of effort and worked about 10 hours more than the 40 I'm paid for, but it was worth it. The kids are wonderful so far, and my staff is independent and motivated. I have no complaints thus far.

Now I just feel like I have to get the rest of my life in order!! There are tons of DIY projects I'd like to get done around the house, and I need to get back on track as far as healthy eating and regular exercising go.

I like to post all my ideas here so I can refer back to them. I physically write things down, too, but I always end up losing those notes sooner or later (usually before I get around to putting the info on them to use!).

Soon I'll be working FT Mon-Fri and going to grad school Sat from 8-5, so I better get organized NOW!!

Here's the game plan:

DIY Projects
Paint all upstairs rooms (hallway, master BR, guest BR, and master bath)
Assemble wedding photo albums (one for us, one for MIL)/Frame fav pics for stairwell
Make wine cork kitchen backsplash

Diet
Log into SparkPeople daily
Implement Once a Month Cooking into life (but on a weekly basis instead)- cook for Tues-Fri on Sun- easy recipes on Mon
Iced coffees on weekends only (this will be tough!)
Drink 3-4 bottles of water daily
Pack lunch every day
Cereal or fiber bar for breakfast

Exercise
Run 3x per week (45 min)
Stepper 2x per week (15 min)
Do 50 push-ups 3x per week
Do 200 crunches 3x per week

Misc
Shots, spay, and de-clawing :( for Juno
