Low Carb Living

First day on Atkins went well. I didn't stick to all the rules, I'm sure, but I am proud of my healthy choices. I had eggs for brunch, peanut butter as an afternoon snack, and a bunless burger and side salad for dinner. I had diet coke (caffeinated, I know), which is supposedly a no-no...but I'm completely addicted to caffeine...I'll have to ease myself off of it! I'm sticking to it this time. I NEED to lose weight. It used to be, 150 is my cutoff point...but now I'm 155 and hating every inch of my body. It's not a good way to live. I am taking control of my bad habits and re-inventing how I fuel my body. I am doing this to ensure I have a long and healthy future ahead of me.

Good luck with your low-carb diet. It seems to work well for me. Just be sure to get lots of water and lots of fiber, to keep things "moving," if you know what I mean. Best wishes.
