I organized my closet tonight and realized how many great clothes I'm missing out on due to the 15 lbs I've packed on since moving to IL. Luckily, I've been super healthy (and more active than usual) these past two days. Also, I now have a health/fitness buddy in Amy. We're going to e-mail each other our daily food and exercise logs. Having someone to check in with is definitely helping to keep me on track. And we've decided for the spring and summer, we're going to do something active for our weekly get togethers-walk, bike ride, tennis, mini golf, etc. And this week or next Trisha and I are going to start the Couch to 5K program.
I am proud of myself for not giving in to the temptations of the food court when I was at Woodfield today. Auntie Annie's pretzel and Mrs. Field's cookie were calling my name, but I stuck with the Fiber One bar I brought from home. Sugar tastes great...but success is sweeter! :)
Highlight of the day: Seeing the expression on Matt's face when he tasted the delicious lemon pepper chicken and rice pilaf combo I made for dinner.
Lowlight of the day: Getting up to the counter at Payless with the shoes and necklace I wanted, only to realize I had left my gift card at home.
