8 THINGS I LOOK FORWARD TO

1. My interview at Grove Jr High on 5/4
2. Obtaining my ESL approval
3. My 2nd anniversary
4. Starting our family
5. Watching the Hawks sweep Vancouver (hey, it could happen...)
6. Seeing David Cook in concert on 7/25
7. Trying Liquid Keratin on my hair
8. Summer "break" (I'll be teaching summer school, but only from 8-12 every day)

8 THINGS I DID YESTERDAY

1. Got an MRI of my shoulder
2. Ate Jimmy John's for dinner
3. Won another "free bagel" from a Dunkin Donuts scratch ticket (I buy a lot of iced coffee)
4. Prayed Adam Lambert would get kicked off AI, even though I didn't get to watch the episode
5. Endured my students' crappy taste in music (they got to create a music playlist, one of their Spirit Week rewards)
6. Drove our new car for the first time
7. Cuddled with my kitties
8. Took the two Rx's the doctor prescribed for my shoulder and passed out around 10 PM

8 THINGS I WISH I COULD DO

1. Get a public school job
2. Lose these last pesky 10 lbs
3. Expel the student who brought weed to school (but, nooo...because he's SPED!)
4. Get rid of my male co-worker, like, yesterday!
5. Start transforming one of our spare rooms into a nursery
6. Play the piano
7. Speak/write fluently in Spanish
8. Pull off a short haircut
