Ok, so things aren't quite so dire today. St. Raymond's finally sent me the paperwork I need...I now have all the files I need to apply for my Initial Illinois Teaching Certificate. None of my students' crazy parents harassed me today. I sat outside and then went for a walk after I got home, to de-stress and get a little sunlight. I'm hoping to go from ghost white to a nice shade of beige soon.
Of course Grove Jr High hasn't called yet, so my guess is they've chosen someone else for the position. And of course things are still tense at work. I am so ready for summer break!! Only...12 days left with seniors!! That means...only 17 days left with everyone else! Granted, I will miss my seniors very much. I'm extremely close to this bunch. But I am starting to burn out. I know they are ready to move on, and honestly, so am I.
So what am I hoping for this week?
I am hoping to prepare for my Methods presentation and write a chapter reflection paper tonight. I am hoping to get out with friends at some point this week. I am hoping the weather is good tomorrow so I can go for another walk. I am hoping to get all my certification paperwork organized and mailed out tomorrow. I am hoping to have a nice picnic in the city or at Starved Rock with Matt on Sunday. Most of all,
I am hoping this cloud over my head lifts soon. I hate feeling this way. I think I may take Tamela's advice and indulge in a bubble bath (and a bottle of wine!) tonight.
**Update: Many objectives have been achieved, as indicated with the
strikethrough command.**
