Things That Make You Go Hmmmmm

So I tried to "friend" a co-worker from a few years ago on Facebook, and here's the message I got in response:

"Sorry, Heather. I've made a point of keeping my Facebook entirely separate from my work/ professional life. There's just a lot of wierd aspects of my personality that I fear would hurt my career so I make sure they never get near the office. Sorry.

P.S. I'm so glad that you're doing well, both personally and professionally."

I think the guy is into WOW and stuff like that. Don't know what could be so bad he doesn't want me or other co-workers to see. I totally understand and respect his choice to keep his personal and professional lives separate, but now I feel kind of bad for even trying to friend him. :(

I like the new layout change and picture!

Don't feel bad, you didn't know he didn't want to have co-workers on his facebook page.

Don't feel bad! I also won't cross that Facebook line with anyone that I work with...mostly because I just don't necessarily want my boss to see vacation bikini shots, or semi-drunken college shots!

I can understand him not wanting to have co-workers on his page - I wish half of mine weren't on my page. At least he was nice enough to send you a message! Just write back "No Worries!!!" and leave it at that. It doesn't sound personal to me.
